Jack Arin Obituary

Jack "Butch" Arin, 94, of Pittsburgh, fell asleep in the Lord peacefully on Monday, April 8, 2024 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born in Duquesne, January 8, 1930, he was the son of the late Anasin Arashinko and Anna Doroshenko Arashinko. Mr. Arin was a member of St. Gregory Russian Orthodox Church of Homestead, he also was a retired co-owner of the former White Oak Florist, a member of the GBU of Duquesne and the American Croation Club of Duquesne. Mr. Arin proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Beloved husband of Joan (Zill) Arin, he is also survived by a son, John Arin, two daughters, Katherine (Robert) Berk and Barbara (Randy) Cunic and four grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Nicholas Arashinko, William Erosenko, Paul Arashinko, and Harry Erosenko and two sisters, Mildred White and Claudia Bondi.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Evgeni Peykov on Thursday April 11, 2024 at 10 A.M. in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home Inc., 828 Richford Street, Duquesne. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. Memory Eternal.
