Margaret K. (Vircik) Vasilisin

Margaret K (Vircik) Vasilisin, 85, of Munhall, died peacefully at home on Monday, June 26, 2017. Born in Duquesne, on January 14, 1932, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna (Fedor) Vircik. Mrs. Vasilisin was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne. A graduate of McKeesport School of Nursing, she was a retired Registered Nurse and a retired claims processor for Blue Cross. She was the beloved wife of Michael E. Vasilisin, she is also survived by her loving children; Michael (June) Vasilisin, Alan Vasilisin, and Kathleen Vasilisin; three grandchildren, Brian and Justin Vasilisin, and Meghan Hoover; and three great grandchildren, Aubrey and Owen Vasilisin, and Carson Hoover. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Anna Bero, Mary Hallam, Helen Vircik and Agnes Vircik.

Family and friends will be recieved from 3-8 P.M. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Inc., Richford and Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home at 9:15 A.M. on Friday, June 30, 2017 will be followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in Ss. Peter and Paul Church with Rev. John Cuccaro as celebrant. Burial will follow in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, West Mifflin.
