Agnes "Aggie" (Chir) Balint

Agnes "Aggie" Chir Balint, 88, of Duquesne, fell asleep in the Lord on Monday August 18, 2014 in Elder Crest Nursing Facility. Born February 11, 1926 in Duquesne she was the daughter of the late Mihaly and Mary Horgas Chir. Wife of the late Stephen A. “Stife” Balint, she was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne. She is survived by three sons; Mark Balint of Memphis, TN, Stephen M. (Donna) Balint of Pittsboro, NC, and Michael (Linda) Balint of Myrtle Beach, SC, a daughter; Evonne of Duquesne, a brother; John (Late Alberta) Chir of Michigan, four grandchildren; Michael, Megan, Leigh Anne and Carey, great grandson; Colton Ernst, brother in law, Richard T. Balint of Las Vegas, NV, sister in law; Evelyn Balint of McKeesport, and a special niece; Cheryl Rosenbaum of Michigan. She was also proceded in death by a sister; nna Chir.
Friends and family will be received on Wednesday August 20, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-9 P.M. in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford & Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. A Blessing service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 A.M. in the Memorial Home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in SS. Peter & Paul Church, Duquesne, with Rev. John Cuccaro celebrant. Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, West Mifflin. Parastas Services will be held on ednesday at 3:30 P.M. in the Memorial Home.
