Agnes (Oleksik)Romanchak, 89, died peacefully, Tuesday, December 30, 2014. She was born March 16, 1925, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late, John and Anna (Bajus)Oleksik. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church of Duquesne, Pennsylvania. Also a member of the McKeesport Hospital Women's Auxiliary and also a volunteer at McKeesport Hospital.
Agnes was the beloved wife of the late, George Romanchak. She is survived by a son, George (Lisa) Romanchak and two daughters, Patricia (Thomas) Grabinski and Mary Jane (Ralph) Speaks, and also nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received, Friday January 2, 2015, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford and Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne, Pennsylvania.
A Blessing will be held in the Skovranko Memorial Home on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 9:30AM, and will be followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in SS. Peter and Paul Church with Rev. John Cuccaro as celebrant. A burial will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania.
