Alexander J Danscak

Alexander J. Danscak, 21, of Pleasant Hills, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Born January 10, 1992, he was the loving son of John and Barbara (Petrisko) Danscak. Mr. Danscak was a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne, and St. Elias Byzantine Catholic Church, Munhall. A 2011 Graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, he was employed in the Transport Department of Magee Women’s Hospital.  Alexander loved the beach and sports, especially football. He was a member of the T.J. Football Team for 4 years and T.J. Track Team. He also volunteered to help in various church activities. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his loving Brother, Evon M. Danscak at home, and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Family and Friends will be received in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford and Commonwealth Avenue Duquesne on Sunday Sept. 8 from 1-4pm and 6-8pm. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Monday Sept. 9 at 9:15am will be followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Elias Church, Munhall, with Rev. Dennis Bogda and Rev. John Cuccaro as Concelebrants. Burial will follow in S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, West Mifflin. Parastas Service will be offered on Sunday at 3:00pm in the Memorial Home.
