Alexander J. Majewski

Alexander J. Majewski, 73, of West Mifflin died peacefully Sunday December 16, 2012, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born October 5, 1939, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Stanley and Pearl (Lapinski) Majewski. Mr. Majewski was a drug and alcohol counselor for South Hills Health System, a member of Prince of Peace Parish, South Side, St. Aldabert’s Alumni Association and proudly served his Country in the U. S. Air Force. Beloved husband of Leona (Rosensky) Majewski, he is also survived by a loving son, Matthew (Sunnie) Majewski of Portland, Oregon, a brother, Larry (Mary) Majewski of South Park and a granddaughter, Summer Majewski.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Wednesday, in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford and Commonwealth Avenue, Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Thursday December 20th at 9:30 A.M. will be followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin, with Rev. Joseph Grosko as celebrant. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
