Ann H. (Kemezy) Liposky

Ann H. (Kemezy) Liposky, 94, of McMurray, formerly of Duquesne, died peacefully, Sunday August 26, 2012 in McMurray Hills Manor, McMurray. Born September 6, 1917 in Everson, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Tkach) Kemezy and the beloved wife of the late Michael F. Liposky. Mrs. Liposky was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne and a former employee of J.C. Penney and Kennywood Park. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law Anita and Jack Proksa of McMurray, two granddaughters, Jamie (Scott) MacKay and Paige (David) Cendroski and five great grandchildren, Abby and Brenden MacKay and Ava, Adam and Peri Cendroski and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Kemezy and Andrew Berrich and five sisters, Mary Maceyak, Mary Berrich, Elizabeth Shinosky, Margaret Demsko and Veronica Halfhill.

Family and friends will be received from 3-7 P.M. on Tuesday in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford and Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Wednesday August 29, 2012, at 9:30 A.M. in Holy Name Church, Duquesne, (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) with Rev. Dennis Colamarino as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Penn Lincoln Mausoleum, North Huntingdon. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to Christ the Light of the World Parish, 32 South First Street, Duquesne, PA. 15110.
