Anne M (Hudosky) Adams

Anne M. (Hudosky) Adams, 88, of West Mifflin, died peacefully Friday August 23, 2013 in Forbes Regional Medical Center, Monroeville. Born in Duquesne, January 31, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sofia (Kalyznik) Hudovsky and beloved wife of the late Andrew Adams. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, it’s former Ladies Guild and Christ the Light of the World Parish, both in Duquesne. Mrs. Adams most enjoyed her family, her churches, baking, arts and crafts, and making afghans. She was the loving mother of one son, Edward (Susan) Adams of Monroeville, and two daughters, Audrey (Edward) Fiore of West Mifflin, and Barbara (the late Timothy) Meszar of Harrison City; loving grandmother of four grandchildren, Amy Garrison, Timothy and Scott Meszar, and Tina Butterfield. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, a sister, Margaret Conboy of Baden and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, John and Andrew Hudovsky and two sisters, Alice Libak and Agnes Janhunen.

Family and Friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. Monday and 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford and Commonwealth Ave. Duquesne. A blessing at 9 A.M. on Wednesday, August 28th , in the Memorial Home will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. in Holy Name Church, Duquesne with Rev. Dennis Colamarino as celebrant. Burial will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, West Mifflin.
