Carl F. Schulte, 79, of West Mifflin died Tuesday, February 26, 2013, in Arden Courts, Jefferson Hills. Born March 21, 1933 in Duquesne, he was the son of the late Anthony and Isabella (Steimer) Schulte. A retired machinist of U.S. Steel Corp., Irvin Works, he was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Beloved husband of Delphine (Miklosko) Schulte, he is also survived by his loving daughters, Ruth Ann Schulte (John Hodish Jr.) of Clairton and Laura (Lance) Biddle of West Elizabeth; a brother, Robert (Late Patricia) Schulte of Monroeville; four grandchildren, Lianne and Madalyn Hodish and Carl and Kate Biddle; a great grandson, Draven “DJ” Hodish and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister-in-law, Ralph and Marge Schulte.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Thursday in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford & Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. A Blessing on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 9 A.M. will be followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. in Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Joseph Grosko as celebrant. Burial with military honors will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, West Mifflin.
