Catherine G (Gavlak) Ragan

Catherine "Nunny" (Gavlak), 83, of West Mifflin died peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2016 in U.P.M.C. East. Born June 2, 1933, in Houtzdel. She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Slabon) Gavlak. She was a member of Resurrection R.C. Church, West Mifflin. Beloved wife of the late Paul J. Ragan; she is survived by ten loving children, Paul (Bernadette) Ragan of Trafford, Joseph (Diana) Ragan of Level Green, Michael (Beth) Ragan of West Mifflin, Daniel (Tiffany) Ragan of McCandless, Cynthia  (Fiancé George Dillinger) Pazehoski of White Oak, Betsy (Tom) Pazehoski of Trafford, Diane (Paul) Vojtek of Erie, Cathy (Rich)  Doyle of North Hills, Marie (John) Hepburn of Fox Chapel, and Teresa (Ken) Davies of West Mifflin; 28 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one sister, Eileen Masley Hall of South Shenango. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, John Gavlak.

Family and friends will be received Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford and Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 9:30A.M. will be followed by a Mass ofChristian Burial at 10 A.M. at Resurrection Church with Rev. Nicholas Mastranglo as celebrant. Burial will Follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, West Mifflin.
