Charles J. "Moe" Ambrose, 79, of Duquesne passed away peacefully on Monday September 30, 2024 in UPMC McKeesport. Born in McKeesport on July 29, 1945, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Jupin) Ambrose. Moe was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Elash Ambrose, he is survived by his three loving children; Dawn L. (Scott) Backus, Lori A. Ambrose and Brian J. Ambrose; two grandsons, Alec Backus and Brennan Backus, and nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Ambrose and a sister, Bonnie Vash. Moe was a retired Iron Worker for Local 3 Iron Workers.
A celebration of Charles "Moe" Ambrose will be held on Saturday November 9, 2024 from 12 (Noon) until 4 P.M. at the Homeville Fire Hall, 3900 Greensprings Avenue, West Mifflin, PA. 15122. Burial Services were Private and entrusted to William S. Skovranko Memorial Home Inc., 828 Richford Street, Duquesne.
