Dorothy L. (Perhac) Suchta

Dorothy L. (Perhac) Suchta, 84, of West Mifflin, died peacefully at home on Thursday July 11, 2013. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Suchta was a member of Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin, and a retired employee of the former Revco Drug Company, Homestead. Born August 28, 1928 in Munhall, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Gaydos) Perhac. Beloved wife of 65 years to John A. Suchta, she is also survived by her loving children, Raymond (Joan) Suchta of Peters Twp., Lawrence Suchta of West Mifflin, Kathleen (Patrick) Sullivan of Norristown, and Christine Matelan of Swissvale; six grandchildren, Adam (Gabrielle) Suchta, Nicholas (Shannon) Suchta, Bridget Sullivan, Casey Sullivan, Ryan Matelan, and Brendan Matelan, Four great grandchildren; Dylan, Carsen, Harrison, and Austin Suchta. She was preceded in death by four brothers; Andrew, Michael, John and Francis Perhac and three sisters; Mary Potsada, Ann Michaels, and Helen Ventura.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday July 13th from 7-9 P.M. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford and Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Monday at 10 A.M. will be followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in Resurrection Church with Rev. David Schorr as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, West Mifflin.
