Elizabeth "Betty" (Andrianakis) Halter

Elizabeth “Betty” (Andrianakis) Halter, 89, formerly of West Mifflin, died peacefully on Friday December 26, 2014 in Golden Heights Personal Care, North Huntingdon. Born October 24, 1925 in Perth Amboy, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Mary (Gastrok) Andrianakis. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne. Beloved wife of the late John Halter, she is survived by two sons, John E. Halter of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., and Robert W. (Denise) Halter of North Huntingdon; a sister, Marie Decker of Stanten Island, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Carol Halter and Robert J. Halter; and three great grandchildren, Gordon, Renee, and Robert.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford & Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Tuesday at 9:15 A.M. will be followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in SS. Peter & Paul Church with Rev. John Cuccaro as celebrant. Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, West Mifflin.
