Elizabeth A. (Fidel) Hankowitz

Elizabeth A. Fidel Hankowitz, 90, of North Huntingdon passed away peacefully Wednesday November 21, 2012 in Golden Heights Personal Care Home, Irwin. Born May 1, 1922 in Homestead she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Stecic Fidel and beloved wife of the late Anthony Hankowitz. She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, McKeesport. She is survived by a loving son, Anthony R. (Diane) Hankowitz of North Huntingdon, a grandson, Aaron Hankowitz of North Huntingdon and nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John Fidel and Mike Fridel and two sisters, Mary Fidel and Helen Bober.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford & Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 24, 2012 at 10 A.M. in the Memorial Home with Rev. John Cuccaro officiating. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, North Versailles.
