Gabriel R. Hrico

Gabriel R. Hrico, 90, of West Mifflin fell asleep in the Lord peacefully at home on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Born in McKeesport on September 2, 1930, he was the son of the Late John F. and Margaret (Hromi) Hrico. Mr. Hrico was a foundering and faithful member of S.S. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne; member and former officer of the Parish Men's Club; a retired educator and beloved teacher in the Duquesne School District with 35 years of service. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean conflict. Beloved husband of the Late Virginia (Kuzo) Hrico, he is survived by his loving children Lori Hrico, West Mifflin and David Hrico, Easton PA, and a sister-in-law, Madeline Fecik, Strongsville, Ohio, and God Father to Kristy Ann (Kuzo) and Christopher Loya. In addition to his parents and loving wife, he was also preceded in Death by his son Michael J. Hrico and 4 Brothers.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, March 14, 2021 from 11am - 2pm and 4pm - 7pm in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Inc. 828 Richford St., Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 12:30pm will be followed by a Funeral service at 1pm in S.S. Peter & Paul Church, Duquesne with Rev. Andrew Deskevich officiating. Burial will follow in S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery, West Mifflin.

Mr. Hrico enjoyed Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Played the violin, bowling, The Casino, and all Pittsburgh Sports Teams. We Love you Dad and will miss you.
