Jean (McGrew) Crandall, 82, of Duquesne died peacefully on Thursday, November 5, 2015, in UPMC McKeesport. Born Sept 7, 1933 in Clairton, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Mabel (Ferree) McGrew and the beloved wife of the late Frank Garofolo and the late Donald Crandall. Mrs. Crandall was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne, and a retired housekeeper for oliday Inn. She is survived by three sons, Keith (Laura) Garofolo of Duquesne, Michael Garofolo of McKeesport and Daniel (Shirley) Garofolo of Jeannette; a daughter, Dawn (Tom) Spitale of Tampa, FLA.; a sister, Betty Cushey of Finleyville; four grandchildren, Sara, Thomas, and Gianni Spitale and Nicole Lovas; and one great grandson, Matthew Lovas.
Family and friends will be received from 2-8 P.M. on Friday in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford & Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at 12 noon will be followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 P.M. in Holy Name Church, Duquesne with Rev. Thomas Lewandowski as celebrant. Private burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
