Margaret Ruth (Sebest) Schulte, Age 80 of West Mifflin, died peacefully Wed. Dec. 19, 2012, under the care of Harmony Hospice and Palliative Care. Born May 22, 1932 in Fairpoint OH. She was the daughter of the late John Sebest a coal miner, and Mary (Kupco) Sebest, a seamstress. Beloved wife of Ralph P. Schulte, who preceded her in death (May 16, 2002). The two were married May 17, 1952 in Duquesne, PA. Sister of the late Albert E. Sebest and the late Johnny “Gumball” Sebest. She was a devoted member of Holy Trinity RC Church West Mifflin. She is survived by her daughter Annette Schulte of Peters Township PA, her son David (Maria) Schulte of West Mifflin PA, and grandchildren Nicholas and Jennifer Schulte. Also, niece Jill Ann Sebest Welch and nephews James J. Sebest and Jeremy D. Sebest. Margie retired from Federal Home Loan Bank of Pgh. As a Supervisor of the Item Processing Dept. She was fluent in the Slovak language, and after retirement, worked as a translator for Free Markets Inc. a global company that used her skills to speak with representatives from Czechoslovakia.
Friends and Family will be received at the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford & Commonwealth Ave. Duquesne PA. 15110 on Friday 1-7 pm. A blessing in the memorial home on Sat. Dec. 22 at 9 am will be followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30am in Holy Trinity Church West Mifflin, with Rev. Joseph Grosko as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
