Margaret L (Jasek) Svirbel

Margaret  L. (Jasek) Svirbel, 86, of Duquesne, died peacefully Wednesday, August 14, 2013, in Paramont Assisted Living, Baldwin. Born November 17, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Canis) Jasek, beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Svirbel and a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, West Mifflin. She is survived by her loving children, Joseph Svirbel of Duquesne, Loretta (Stephen) Schneider of Duquesne and Mary Ann (Dana) Nesiti of West Homestead and her adoring grandchildren, Zachary and Sarah Schneider, also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven sisters, Helen Jasek, Ann Shaffer, Josephine Seman, Sr. Elizabeth Jasek, Sr. Carmen Jasek, Madeline Cabon, and Agnes Krznaric and one brother, John Jasek.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Friday in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford and Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Saturday at 9:30 A.M. will be followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in Holy Trinity Church, with her nephew, Rev. Nathanael Polinski as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Her family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Paramont Assisted Living for their tender, loving care.
