Margaret (Sabol) Vassel

Margaret Vassel (Sabol), 89, of Duquesne, on Thursday, January 5, in UPMC McKeesport. Born September 23, 1922, in Duquesne, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Banko) Sabol and wife of the late Steve Vassel. Survived by two sons, Craig S. and Eugene M. (Rosbala) Vassel, both of Walnut Creek, CA; preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, George, Michael and Michael E. Sabol and two sisters, Mary Harapas and Helen Sabol.

Friends received Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the WILLIAM S. SKOVRANKO MEMORIAL HOME, Richford and Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. Liturgy of Christian Burial, Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. in Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne. Parastas service on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the memorial home.
