Marie (Dickson) Spirnak, 90, of Munhall, entered eternal life peacefully at home on Friday, July 30, 2021. Born in Detroit, May 8, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Yesko) Dickson. Mrs. Spirnak was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, St. Rita Church, Whitaker. Beloved wife of Raymond J. Spirnak, she is also survived by her loving children, Dale (Michelle) Spirnak of Munhall, Jacqueline Spirnak of Bridgeville, Gary Spirnak of California, Donna Greiner of Indiana, Karen (Richard) Allen of Tennessee, David Spirnak of Texas and Ray Spirnak of Indiana, five grand children, Eric and Nicholas Greiner, Mark and John Spirnak, and Lauren Poland, and one great granddaughter, Vivian Poland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Joseph J. Dickson and Yolanda Hvizdos.
Family and friends will be received on Monday August 2, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M., in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home Inc., 828 Richford Street, Duquesne. A blessing in the memorial home on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at 9:30 A.M. will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Rita Church, with Rev. Dan Sweeney as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, West Mifflin. Her family would like to acknowledge and thank Gateway Hospice of North Hills for the loving care provided to Marie.
