Michael Dojcak Jr.

Michael Dojcak Jr., 82, of Duquesne fell asleep in the Lord, Sunday August 26, 2012 in Riverside Care Center, McKeesport. Born August 13, 1930 in Duquesne, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary Evano Dojcak Sr. Mr. Dojcak was a retired Rolling Mill employee of U.S. Steel, Duquesne works, faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a member of St. Michael’s Orthodox Church, McKeesport. He will be greatly missed by his loving family that includes two sisters, Mary Voytko of Duquesne, with whom he resided,  Helen Leibold of Elizabeth, and a brother, John Dojcak of Elizabeth, seven nieces, three nephews, seventeen great nieces and nephews, and twelve great great nieces and  nephews, all of whom he loved with a generous heart. A brother, Edward Dojcak preceded him in death.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday August 29, 2012 from 1-8 P.M. in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford and Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne with Panikhida service at 7:30 P.M. Private family prayers will be offered at 9:15 A.M. on Thursday in the Memorial Home followed by Funeral Services at 10 A.M. in St. Michael’s Orthodox Church, 424 Ninth Street, McKeesport (those other than family,  please meet at Church) with Rev. George Patrick officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Monongahela Cemetery, North Braddock.  His family would like to thank the staff of Mount Vernon of Elizabeth Senior Living,  and the staff of Riverside Care Center, McKeesport for their comfort and compation.  In lieu of flowers the  family wishes for donations be made to The Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank, 1 North Lindin St., Duquesne, PA. 15110.
