Regis Melvin Solomon, 82, of Duquesne passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2022 . Born May 3, 1940 in Braddock he was the son of the late Leonard and Kathryn (Shepard) Solomon. Regis was a retired steel worker at U.S. Steel Homestead works and a member of the Duquesne- McKeesport Masonic Lodge 731 . He is survived by his beloved wife, Gladys Bundy Solomon, his loving children, Regis Michael (Pam) Solomon, DeAnne (Lawrence) Massung, and Brian Keith (Carrie) Solomon; two grandchildren Seth Solomon and Bradley (Nicole) Kester; two great grandchildren, Brody and Braxton Kester; two brothers, Freddy (Ginny) Solomon and Kenneth (Kathy) Solomon; a sister Georgianne Balas; a brother-in-law, Emil Bundy Jr.; nieces, Amy Bundy, and Leah Concannon among other nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, Norman Solomon (wife Maryanne survives).
As per Mr. Solomon's wishes all services and visitation are private. Services are entrusted to William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Inc., 828 Richford Street, Duquesne.
