Rita M. (Benjeski) Jackson

Rita M. (Benjeski) Jackson, 69, of Duquesne died peacefully Friday September 14, 2012, at Home. Born October 17, 1942 in McKeesport she was the daughter of the late Theodore F. and Regina (Jaskolski) Benjeski. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne, a dispatcher for U.P.M.C. Police Dept. at Children’s Hospital and a former employee of Kennywood Park for 15 years. She is survived by her three loving sons; Robert W. Jackson of Muskiegon, Michigan, John R. Jackson of Pittsburgh, and Richard Jackson of Elizabeth; daughter, Carla Nagy of Olathe, Kansas; a sister, Barbara Sarra of State College; a brother Theodore R. Benjeski of Rochester, N.Y.; and five grandchildren, Taylor Nicole Jackson, Nicole Goodson, Joe R. Nagy, Kristen Jackson, and Patrick Jackson.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. on Wednesday in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford & Commonwealth Ave. Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. will be followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in St. Hedwig Church, Duquesne, with Rev. Dennis Colamarino as celebrant. Burial will follow in Twin Valley Cemetery, Delmont.
