Robert J. Koribanic

After a courageous battle with bladder cancer, Robert J. Koribanic, our "Bobby K," 49, of West Mifflin died peacefully with his family by his side on September 8, 2015.  Born Dec. 16, 1965, in Homestead, he was the son of Robert W. and Vilma (Kampe) Koribanic. He is survived by his loving wife Suzanne (Rezes) Koribanic, stepson Brandon Schnelzer, sister Stephanie Higby (Glen) of Elizabeth Twp., his furry friends, Cuddles, Zoey, and Spock, and Stephanie's little Chester.

Bob was a graduate of St. Vincent College, an active and devoted member of S.S. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church Duquesne and a staff accountant at Walnut Grove Ministries, West Mifflin.

Family & friends will be received from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9pm Friday September 11, 2015 in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home Richford & Commonwealth Avenue, Duquesne. A blessing in the Memorial Home at 9:30am Saturday will be followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00am in S.S. Peter & Paul Church with  Rev. John Cuccaro as celebrant. Burial with a dove release leading Bob to eternal life in Heaven will follow in S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery, West Mifflin. Parastas Services will be offered on Friday at 3 P.M. in the Memorial Home.
