Robert G. Smerkar

Robert G. Smerkar, 65, of McKeesport died peacefully Wednesday February 6, 2013, in Select Specialty Care , McKeesport. Born in Greensburg, November 30, 1947, he was the son of the late Mary Smerkar Lindsey, he was a retired custodial engineer of U.P.M.C. Mckeesport and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the  Vietnam War. He is survived by two brothers; Michael Smerkar of Smithton and William Lindsey of Deerfield Beach, FLA., a sister; Christy Lindsey of Scottdale, seven nephews and three nieces. He was preceded in death by a sister; Michelle Kovalsky.

Family and friends will be received from 4-8 P.M. on Sunday, February 10, 2013, in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford & Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne.
