Rose A. Lazur, 86, of Bethel Park, formerly of West Mifflin, Pa died peacefully in her home on Monday, October 20th, 2014.  Born November 20th, 1927 in Duquesne, Pa, she is predeceased by her parents, Andrew N Noll and Catherine Gilch, and her late husband of 38 years, George Lazur of West Mifflin, along with Eva Scharding (sister), and Leo Noll (brother).
Rose was a homemaker living in West Mifflin and joined with her husband, George, in the ownership and operation of the George's Barber Shoppe from 1963 until his death in 1998.  She loved to sew, and was an avid reader, as well was an active member of the Ladies Guild of SS Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Duquesne , PA.  She enjoyed her many trips to the Meadows, Atlantic City and Wheeling with her lady friends, as well as her weekly dinners with her brother, niece and nephew.  She was also an avid supporter of all of her grandchildren's accomplishments.
Survivors include her two children, Mark (Maria) Lazur of Upper St Clair, and Linda (Don O.) Ollio of Arlington, TN; granddaughter, Victoria Lazur of Columbus, OH; grandsons Nicholas and Zachary Lazur and Brandon Ollio; brother Andrew Noll of West Mifflin; six nieces and three nephews.
Friends & Family will be received on Thursday, Oct 23, 2014 from 5-9 P.M. in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford & Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. A blessing service in the Memorial Home on Friday at 9:30 A.M. will be followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in SS. Peter & Paul Church with Rev. John Cuccaro as celebrant. Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, West Mifflin. A Parastas service will be conducted on Thursday at 7:30 P.M. in the Memorial Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Upper St Clair Twp Library in Roses' honor;  1820 McLaughlin Run Rd, USC Twp, Pa 15241., a location that she loved and spent many hours over the years
