Sophia G (Dubaich) Valiquette

Sophia G. Valiquette, 81, of West Mifflin, died Friday September 27, 2013 in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born in Duquesne, August 2, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Pera (Radmanovich) Dubaich. She was a retired clerk for R & M Variety Store, West Mifflin with over 25 years of service. She is survived by her loving children, John “Jack” (Joyce) Valiquette of Munhall and Cynthia (David Samudovsky) Ivaska of Munhall; a brother, Rudy (Ida) Dubaich of Munhall; a brother-in-law, Andrew Simko of West Mifflin; three grandchildren, Bryan Ivaska, Shawn Ivaska, and Nicole Valiquette and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gordon and Samuel Dubaich, and a sister, Bessie Simko.

Funeral Service will be held for Mrs. Valiquette at a later date. Services have been entrusted to the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford and Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. Her family wishes for contributions be made in her memory to the Hillman Cancer Center, 5115 Centre Ave., Pittsburgh, PA. 15252.
