Stephanie Ann Koresko, 77, of Duquesne, entered into eternal life peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Locust Grove, West Mifflin. Born in Duquesne, September 3, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Stephen E. and Elizabeth (Pollak) Koresko. Stephanie received her education at Duquesne High School, South Side Hospital School of Nursing, and Penn State University. She proudly served her Country as a 1st LT in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict, at Vung Tau in the 36th EVAC Ward 5 and the 3448 Medical Surgical Unit. After serving her country Stephanie was employed as a Registered Nurse at the former St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh, then the Dialysis Clinic in Wilkinsburg and then finished her career at U.P.M.C. Stephanie is survived by her loving brother and sister-in-law Stephen and Shirley Koresko, a nephew, Stephen John (Cassandra) Koresko, a niece, Jennifer Michelle (Gustav) Schiefelbein, and two great nephews, Stephen John Koresko II and Micheal Danner Koresko.
Family and friends will be received in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home Inc., 828 Richford Street, Duquesne, on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at which time services will be conducted by Rev. Judith Slater. Burial with Military Honors will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at the convenience of the family.
