Victor E. Kocheran

Victor E. Kocheran, 84, formerly of Duquesne died peacefully Wednesday November, 14, 2012 in Locust Grove Senior Community, West Mifflin. Born January 15, 1928 in Duquesne, he was the son of the late Michael and Barbara Kuchta Kocheran. Victor was a faithful member of SS. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Duquesne, the parish rosary society, a retired employee of U. S. Steel, Duquesne Works, and a U. S. Army veteran. Victor was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters; Michael, Alex, John, George, Helen, Joseph, and Martha Kocheran. He is survived by a niece; Mary Jo DaPos and her husband Frank of Harrison City, a great nephew; Elio DaPos and a sister-in-law; Elizabeth Kocheran of Harrison City.

Friends will be received Thursday from 4-8 P.M. in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Richford & Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home at 10:15 A.M. on Friday November 16, 2012 will be followed by Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in SS. Peter & Paul Church with Rev. John Cuccaro as celebrant. Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, West Mifflin. Parastas service will be prayed at 4:30 P.M. Thursday in the Memorial Home.
